| 抄録: | In this paper we describe the influences caused by a camera system in group homes. We believe that the camera system is a helpful tool for caregiving, but some regard it as a tool for surveillance in general. It therefore remains possible that the camera system gives pressure to caergivers. It is important to clarify about how does the camera system influence the group home. We inverviewed seventeen caregivers working at those homes to see how the system affected them after the systems were installed. A Video observation also was conducted to a group home. The series of interviews revealed that the system was accepted them immediately, and caregivers felt that it is essential tool for caregiving. From the video observation, we found that caregivers could give more adequate care for residents. |
