抄録: From viewpoints of complex network science and biological foraging for communication networks, we propose a system model of scalable self-organized geographical networks, in which the proper positions of nodes and the network topology are simultaneously determined according to population. The fractal-like network structure is constructed by iterative divisions of rectangles for load balancing across nodes, in order to adapt to territory changes. In numerical simulations, we show that, for searching targets concentrated around high population areas, the naturally embedded fractal-like structure by population has higher efficiency than the conventionally optimal strategy on a square lattice. The adaptation of network structure to the spatial distribution of realistic communication requests gives such a high performance
