Abstract: 本研究は社会的な学習メカニズムの解明を目指し、その一つの基礎となる身体動作の模倣の計算論的モデルの構築を目的として行った。身体模倣の実現には、複数の感覚器・効果器の間で、さらに自己と他者の間で表現を変換する必要があり、高度な計算過程を要する。制御理論に基づく既存手法では、十分な情報が与えられた下での、精密な運動制御を可能とする。しかし、既存手法では、完全な情報が得られない他者の運動から、身体的な制約の異なる自己の運動への対応付けは困難である。本研究は、異なる身体間の複数の感覚器・効果器上の運動パタンが、力学的な位相空間に変換できる事に着目し、この位相構造の類似性に基づく模倣学習理論を提案した。 : Toward understanding the mechanism of social learning, the present study attempts to build computational model of bodily imitation as a basis for it. It is crucial to convert representation of bodily movements across sensory and motor systems and across self and other systems. The existing approach based the motor control theory requires sufficient information for controlling motor systems. It is, however, difficult to compute accurate mappings between sensory and motor systems on the basis of this existing theory, as it cannot have sufficient information on the other body. By exploiting the theoretical understanding that movements in different bodies can be identified on the basis of topological space of the dynamical systems, the present study proposes a computational theory of imitative learning based on the topological similarity of bodily movements.
