| 抄録: | 従来のWeb閲覧は,基本的に1つのWebページを1つのウィンドウに表示して行われていた.そのため,リンクをたどった際にリンク元文書が画面から失われ,読者は閲覧の文脈を保存できなかった.我々は,リンク先文書をリンク元文書内に展開表示する「文書内挿」をWeb文書の閲覧に適用するシステムinlineLinkを開発した.inlineLinkは,従来の文書内挿における問題を解消するため,文書内の移動にかかる手間を軽減する機構と,文書全体を把握するためのナビゲーション機構を備えている.既存のWebブラウザ上で文書内挿機能を実現するため,Dynamic HTML技術を用いてinlineLinkを実装した.評価実験の結果,文書内挿機能がWeb文書閲覧におけるマウスクリック数と移動量を軽減することを確認した. : Conventional web browsing is performed by displaying a web page inside one window. Following of a link in conventional web browsing replaces the previous document entirely, and the readers tend to lose the context. We have designed a system inlineLink, which applies an inline expansion method to web browsing. The inline expansion means to insert the linked document after the link anchor. inlineLink provides navigation mechanisms such as automatic animated scrolling, zooming and index-jumping in order to reduce the scrolling tasks while handling the longer inlined documents. We have adopted Dynamic HTML to implement the inline expansion functions. Casual users can try them on conventional web browsers. The results of our experiment prove the advantage of inlineLink in click counts and the length of mouse movement. |
