Abstract: 近年,日本において初対面同士のコミュニケーションに苦手意識を持つ若者が多く,社会全体の大きな課題となっている.これは,主として話題の選出が困難であることに起因する.このため,これまでに様々な話題提供システムが考案されてきた.しかしながら,これらの研究は会話を意図していない初対面同士が,距離的圧力を感じる場所での会話を行う場面は考慮していない.本研究では,このような状況における初対面者同士の会話を支援するために,話題の内容ではなく話題の提供方法に焦点を当て,「弱いロボット」の研究を参考に,人同士の会話中に割り込み,気弱そうに話題の提供を行うロボットによる会話支援を試みた.実験の結果,ロボットが気弱で頼りない印象を与えることによって初対面時の会話を誘導することは難しいことがわかった.In recent years, young people in Japan often have difficulty in communicating with others for the first time, and this has become a major issue for society. This is mainly due to the difficulty in selecting a topic of conversation. To solve this problem, a variety of topic recommendation systems have been proposed. However, they have not considered the situation where two people who have never met before and do not intend to have a conversation talk with each other in a place where they feel distance pressure. To support such communications by the strangers, in this study, we focused not on the content of the topic but on the method of providing the topic, and tried to support conversation by a robot that interrupts a conversation between people and provides the topic in a timid manner, referring to the research on “weak robots”. The experimental results showed that it is difficult to induce conversation just by giving the impression that the robot is timid and unreliable.
