抄録: We have previously proposed a method for restoring the power envelope from the observed speech (noisy reverberant speech). This method is based on the concept of modulation transfer function (MTF) and does not require that the impulse response and noise conditions in the room acousticsbe measured. In the previous report, the proposed approach was evaluated by carrying out evaluational simulations in artificial noisy reverberant environments. In this paper, we comprehensivelyevaluate the proposed method for speech powerenvelope restoration in both artificial and realistic noisy reverberant environments to investigate the availability and applicability of the proposed method for speech restoration in realistic environments. As results, we found that the proposed method can reasonably restore the power envelope from noisyreverberant speech in noisy reverberant environments.
